Cocopah Gives Back

Did you know that there is an SUSD Community Closet and Pantry located at Coronado High School?  The District has allotted a small space to house gently used clothing, as well as school supplies, toiletries, and non-perishable food items for any SUSD family in need.

Coronado staff is beginning the process of remodeling the Closet/Pantry in order to make the best use of the space. The goal is to model SUSD’s Community Closet/Pantry after Barry Goldwater High School’s Giving Closet.  Check out the amazing transformation below!

Check out our goals!

As Cocopah families, there are many ways that we can help keep the closet and pantry full. There are opportunities to give during specific times of the year and there are ongoing opportunities as well.

Halloween Costume Drive

Beginning the second week of October is the Halloween Costume Drive. Gently used or new costumes of any size are collected in the Cocopah front office and delivered to the Community Closet.  Be on the lookout for our flier in October!

 Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

Begins the first week of November.  Non-perishable holiday foods are collected in the Cocopah front office and delivered to the Community Closet/Pantry the week before Thanksgiving.
