Donations for Dollar$

Mark your calendars!  Cocopah’s first ever Donations for Dollar$ Community Event is scheduled for October 13th – 15th. If you ever needed a reason to clean out your closets and drawers, this is it!

In proud partnership with U-Haul, Savers and The Home Depot, Cocopah APT is thrilled to bring a community donation event to the Cocopah campus, where all proceeds will benefit on campus activities. Participation has never been simpler: you donate your clean and unwanted clothing items, and Cocopah will be paid per pound for the donations! Please find a list of acceptable donations on the attached flyer HERE. U-Haul has generously donated a collection truck for the event that will remain on the Cocopah campus from Tuesday 10/13 – Thursday 10/15 for donations. 

Collection times:

Tuesday 10/13: morning 9:30–11:30 am, evening 5:30–7:30 pm

Wednesday 10/14: morning 9:30–11:30 am, evening 5:30–7:30 pm

Thursday 10/15: morning 9:30–11:30 am, evening 5:30–7:30 pm

A U-Haul truck will be parked in the parking lot on the east side of Cocopah (south end) for donation drop-offs; please DO NOT attempt to drop off in the front office – donations will not be accepted there. The Home Depot has generously donated bags – if you are in need of extra bags please reach out directly to Linda Zaremba, VP of Fundraising or for information on how to volunteer.
