Cocopah Compassionate Communications Youth Conference

This Youth Conference (FREE) is designed to teach students how to create human connections that empower compassionate giving and receiving through non-violent communications.

Cocopah Compassionate Communications Youth Conference will meet on Fridays from 2:30 – 4:30 pm beginning February 2nd for 8 weeks not including District recess periods.

This Youth Conference (FREE) is designed to teach students how to create human connections that empower compassionate giving and receiving through non-violent communications.

Nonviolent Communication (abbreviated NVC, also called Compassionate Communication or Collaborative Communication) is an approach to nonviolent living developed by Marshall Rosenberg beginning in the 1960s. … NVC supports change on 3 interconnected levels: with self, with other and with groups and social systems.

The conference is limited to the first 40 that sign up.  Refreshments will be served and parents are asked to pick up their child no later than 4:30 pm.

Classes will be taught by Cocopah Parent Leaf Dunigan and Sponsored by APT.  Ms. Dodrill is the faculty adviser for this program.
