Art Club

Be Kind – Cocopah Cares Club

Inspired by the Be Kind People Project, club members will actively thank and appreciate their teachers and inspire acts of kindness on our campus. The club is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who would like to Be Encouraging – Be Supportive – Be Positive – Be Helpful – Be Honest – Be Considerate – Be Thankful – Be Responsible – Be Respectful – Be a Friend. Bible Club

Student-directed opportunity for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to gather together after school to learn about the Lord, to support one another through prayer, to fellowship together, and to develop and maintain their relationship with God. Book Club

Students choose books to read and discuss with their friends in a friendly, fun environment. Different genres will be encouraged and reviews and summaries may be written for the Book Review Clubs website, videos and library binder. Book Reviews Club

Students are writing book reviews and summaries recommending books to other students that will be kept in a binder in the library. Book commercial videos will be produced and played on the morning announcements. A website is being set up to blog about books, too. RC World Club

Come learn how to fly planes, helicopters, quadcopters and more! If it is remote control, then we are flying it. Meeting times are in Ms. Dodrill’s Science room B-101 at 2:30 pm on Friday – then you will head out to the fields. You do not have to own your own RC Vehicle to participate. Questions? Science Olympiad Club

Science Olympiad Club prepares for competitions that are like academic track meets, consisting of a series of 23 team events in each division (Division B is middle school; Division C is high school). Each year, a portion of the events are rotated to reflect the ever-changing nature of genetics, earth science, chemistry, anatomy, physics, geology, mechanical engineering and technology. The Spanish Club

The Spanish Club is an opportunity for students to practice speaking Spanish whether or not they are currently taking a Spanish class.
